1077 - Fate Unknown

Lockheed Electra 10B, No. 1077, registration NC16053, was delivered to Delta on January 15, 1937. Just over five years later the aircraft was transferred to the USAAF as a UC-36C, registration 42-57221, and flown down to Biloxi, Miss., on June 11, 1942. Five months later on November 11, 1942, the aircraft was damaged in an accident in Gulfport. Depending on the severity of the crash it seems likely that the aircraft was likely scrapped; however, we have been unable to find any details regarding the crash. The fate of this aircraft is unknown.
