450hp Pratt & Whitney R-985 Wasp Engines allowed for a cruising speed of around 200mph!

The Model 10 Electra could hold ten passengers and two crew.

With the addition of the Electra, Delta Airlines shorted its Dallas-Atlanta route by 3 hours!

Baggage on the Electra was held either in compartments in the wings or in a small compartment in the nose of the aircraft.

Northwest Airlines used their L-10s to study the benefits and methods of delivering supplemental oxygen to passengers at higher altitudes.

Experience history like never before. Get up close and personal with one of the last surviving Lockheed Electra 10As! The goal of our new project, Electra-fying,  is to educate those who want to learn about the Electra, 1930s aviation, and Amelia Earhart. (We do NOT have a contract with the aircraft's owner and are an independent organization!)

Based out of Topeka, Kansas.
